POLICE are appealing for information by text following a fatal domestic garage fire on the morning of Saturday 17 May at Chestnut Drive, Holme upon

Spalding Moor.Daniel Allan died in the fire and Ryan Steels died in the early hours of Monday May 19 at Alder Hey Hospital, in Liverpool.Police are

treating the fire as suspicious.Officers want to piece together a picture of the two 14-year-old boys' movements on Friday evening and during the early

hours of Saturday morning.The fire brigade were called out at 4.13am on Saturday and the police were informed at 4.26am.Now people can text information to

officers on 0787 554 5908. They can also contact police on 0845 60 60 222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.It is hoped the text message number will appeal

to young people who may have valuable information about the boys' movements on Friday evening and Saturday morning.Daniel was wearing white coloured

trainers, dark blue coloured tracksuit bottoms with a white or red line down the side and a cream coloured hooded top with a brown or rust coloured

horizontal pin stripe running through it.Ryan was wearing white coloured trainers, black coloured jogging bottoms, a light coloured hooded top with light

grey and white stripes, and a Manchester United top.Two people were arrested on Saturday in relation to the fire. They have now been released on police

bail, pending further enquiries, to a date in July.
